You will feel comfortable in experimenting with your voice while learning from this leading voice expert. With over 25 years as a professional singer, Sandy has taught at Harvard University, the Noble and Greenough School, Cambridge Adult Education, Lexington Community Education, and in her private studio.
Sandy enjoys working with a broad range of students, men and women, high-school through adult, beginner to advanced, all voice ranges from soprano through bass, shower singer to choral singer to soloist. Sandy is particularly skilled with helping her students overcome the many hang-ups they have around their singing. Sandy is an expert at getting students to express their unique voice. Sandy’s students master support, relaxation, tone building, range expansion, interpretation, and performance skills while using uses classical, folk, Broadway, and pop repertoire.
Sandy distinguished vocal work includes appearances as a soprano soloist with the Harvard Chamber Orchestra, the Mastersingers, Masterworks Chorale and many other Boston groups in such works as the Poulenc Gloria, Handel’s Messiah, and the Mozart Vespers. For 20 years, she served as Cantorial Soloist and choral Director at Temple Isaiah in Lexington.
